NEW! This is what the editor of the Gettysburg Times wrote about the performance there on February 28: “The near full house at the Majestic for the “Pirates of Penzance,” by NYGASP, was an audience from ages 5-75. Swashbucklers, bumbling British bobbies, frolicsome maidens, a dotty Major General and live orchestra was outstanding entertainment (for being an operetta). A reminder of the theater’s role as a cultural gem….Laughter at a musical group of ‘sensitive’ pirates is good medicine.”
