January Performances: Don't miss "I've Got a Little Twist!"
See the all new I've Got a Little Twist: An intimate G&S revue with the stars of NYGASP. Six of the best performers NYGASP has to offer get up close and personal with a fresh take on G&S favorites and other musical theater from the "living legacy of Gilbert & Sullivan" - including Bernstein, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Sondheim, and others. Each musical selection, or group of selections, is presented with a "twist" from its original theatrical intent. New lyrics, new arrangements, juxtaposition of themes, or just a personal reinterpretation of a favorite moment are all part of the intriguing fun. Cabaret Master of Ceremonies David Auxier joins with soprano Michele McConnell, alto Angela Smith, tenor Colm Fitzmaurice, patter man Stephen Quint, bass David Wannen and new-to-NYGASP musical arranger/accompanist Mark York for this program.
