MATTHEW CARTER (Ensemble) joins us fresh from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, having moved to NYC this Fall. Favorite credits include Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Crane River Theater), Warren in Ordinary Days (UNL Musical Theatre), Top in The Tender Land (UNL Opera), Daniel Beauxhomme in Once on the Island (Snap! Productions), and Princeton in Avenue Q (Nebraska Repertory Theatre). Come see him show off his swagger and swashbuckling, as well as a rich Bass-Baritone in Pirates!

 HANNAH EAKIN (Ensemble) A triple threat and graduate of Oklahoma City University, Hannah’s favorite credits include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Jane in Tarzan, Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (The Barn Theatre); Les Misérables, Mary Poppins, The Bridges of Madison County (Arkansas Repertory Theatre); and Mary Martin-of-Tours in Sister Act (Westchester Broadway Theatre). She’s also an accomplished writer and filmmaker. Don’t miss Hannah’s hilarious antics as “Butterfly Girl” in the Pirates ensemble!

 ALEXANDRA IMBROSCI-VIERA (Ensemble) Proud Latina and lover of Sondheim and new music, Alexandra has appeared in the NY theater scene with All Kinds of People (Inside Broadway tour), Sueños: Our American Musical (NY Theatre Barn, New Works Series), andSay Nothing (Developmental). Favorite roles include Maria (West Side Story), Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Lucille (Parade), Hope Harcourt (Anything Goes), Meg/Clarissa (Little Women). No stranger to Pirates, Alex has played Kate before, and her first foray into Penzance was as a pirate in 5th grade!

 ABBY KURTH (Ensemble) Multi-talented Mezzo, Abby is also a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She honed her operetta skills with Ohio Light Opera as Edith in Pirates, Patsy West in Girl Crazy, and Florinda in Into the Woods and is returning to play Ruth among other roles in the OLO 2022 season. In 2019 she spread cheer on a national tour with Cirque Dreams Holidaze as a singing elf/angel. Other favorite roles include the title role in Violet, Pisandro/Love/Juno in The Return of Ulysses, and Amy's spirit in Adamo's Little Women. She’s covering Kate in Pirates, and fun fact - she and castmate Hannah Holmes are sisters onstage and in real life! 

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN SAPP (Frederic) Christopher brings his fresh-faced Frederic to NYC after playing the role on NYGASP’s most recent Pirates tour. His strong background in operetta includes work with Ohio Light Opera and College Light Opera Company (Luiz in The Gondoliers), as well as regular appearances with Victor Herbert Renaissance Project. His collegiate credits include the University of Georgia (Anthony in Sweeney Todd) and New York University (Charlie Dalrymple in Brigadoon), and he sang on the seas with Disney Cruise Line as Flynn Rider in Tangled: The Musical. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Christopher also plays with his Indie Pop band, Venturist - check out their debut album “Tough Year” available on all streaming platforms!

 SOPHIE THOMPSON (Mabel, Ensemble) Sophie makes her NYGASP debut as Mabel having sung the role last summer with The College Light Opera Company, where she also sang Aline (Sorcerer), Phoebe (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), and Trio (Trouble in Tahiti). Other favorite credits include Eliza (Dark Sisters), Jessie (Mahagonny Songspiel), Bubikopf (Der Kaiser von Atlantis), and Pamina (Die Zauberflöte). She was a Semifinalist in the 2022 American Traditions Vocal Competition and the 2020 Lotte Lenya Competition. Sophie holds an MM from The Eastman School of Music and a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University. Her comedic coloratura as Mabel is a great reason to join us at the Kaye!
